With all the snow we have gotten in K.C. these past couple weeks, I decided to go with an image this week that reminds me of spring, and that it’s hopefully not too far away!

This week’s photo is actually an old image from 2007 I rediscovered a couple days ago and applied some new editing. It was shot at the K.C. downtown airport when I was down down there one day photographing the planes.
Denim & Diamonds
This past Friday I shot the annual Denim & Diamonds event for the Parkville Chamber of Commerce. The event is the Chamber’s yearly fundraiser and consisted of dinner, live auctions, awards and a happy hour with a live band. The guest MC for the night was Ted Mcknight, who used to play for the K.C. Chiefs.

Well, with 34 minutes to spare, I remembered it was Monday and I needed to post my photo of the week! This week’s photo I took a couple years ago out at Powell Gardens, a little wandering off the designated trails might have been necessary….

Ok, I REALLY need to get better about not neglecting my blog! So I have come up with a solution to help me remember, and hopefully everyone else will enjoy it as well: A Photo of the Week.
